Crubenbeg Country House, 9 km from Newtonmore and 90 km from Inverness, provides different rooms, each featuring views over the valley. The Stag room, located on the first floor, includes a king-size 4-poster bed and armchairs, with views through a bay window and an en-suite bath and shower. The Pine Marten room, on the ground floor, offers a super-king size bed, a separate entrance to the garden, and Category One accessibility. The Osprey room, on the first floor, features a super-king size bed and picture windows. The Capercaillie room is a double room popular for couples and single guests, located on the first floor. Each room includes complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, Free WiFi, Freeview TV, a hairdryer, fleece dressing gowns, and a Guest Information folder. Note that pets are only allowed in the Pine Marten room.
Breakfast and Dining
The dining room is where guests can gather for breakfast, to discuss their day, and for dinner (2 days advance notice required). A hearty breakfast is offered. Sample a great wine from Romania with all the classic bright red fruit flavours and spicy notes you would expect from a Pinot Noir.

Crubenbeg Country House makes to perfect base to get out and explore the invigorating and scenic walks that surround the area of the Scottish Highlands, warmly welcomes pets, walkers and cyclists who want to make the most of the trails in the local area. The Cairngorms National Park offers a diverse range of wildlife and activities. The Strathspey Steam Railway runs trips from Aviemore to Broomhill via the Boat of Garten. Wolftrax has bike tracks and a car park. Enjoy 14 acres of native woodlands right on the edge of Loch Insh in the Cairngorms National Park. Cairngorm has a convenient Cairngorm Funicular Railway, with restaurant. Many distilleries in the Spey Valley offer whisky sampling. Newtonmore Golf Club holds regular open golf competitions, as well as the popular Golf Week that takes place in August.
Location and Surroundings
Located within the vast Cairngorms National Park, Crubenbeg Country House provides access to scenery and walks, minutes from the Falls of Truim. Guests can explore the Spey Valley, and Glen Truim looking east. The reserve is home to birds including lapwings, barnacle geese, and oystercatchers. Inverness is 90 km away. Landmarks nearby: Creag Dhubh - 5 km and Clan Macpherson Museum - 7 km.
